Germenglish

For the last week or so we have been blessed with absolutely gorgeous spring weather. Matti and I were playing construction worker and he said,
"ok, Amy, I am the builder and you are the builder-in"
("-in" is the way the Germans make most ocupations feminine). Another cute Germenglish phrase:
"Amy, when the (plant similar to poison ivy) gets on your Haut then it stings but when it touches the tree nothing in passiering" (Haut = skin, passiert is how it should be conjugated in German, but he was going for happening)
