Paris Paris Paris

Needless to say, I had a wonderful time visiting Valeska and Julien in Paris. I think the first picture here may be the only one where Valeska and I are both acting normal.

The Eiffel Tower...see I really was there. In the second picture of the Tower look very very closely at the bottom of the picture and you will see me. I asked a woman to take a picture of me with the tower and this is how it turned out...haha

Here are stairs to climb up the tower. I opted to climb up the first two levels because I didn't feel like waiting three hours for the elevator and I have legs, right? This last picture of me pinching the Eiffel Tower is for Jackie.

Pictured here are two of the most beautiful churches I have ever seen. The first two pictures of of Notre Dame. It is from head to toe gothic. I was completely amazed at the outside and the inside. The next church is the Sacred Heart Basilica on the other side of town. This church is also amazing.

On Friday evening, Valeska and I visited the Louvre. It was beautiful. Here is a picture of me admiring the Mona Lisa. Unfortunately we had to stand this far away for security reasons.

On Monday morning I headed to Versailles were I walked through the beautiful castle gardens and then took an audio tour of Marie Antoinette's little hideaway (ok so it's not so little).

On Tuesday morning Julien and I visited a very creepy place...a maze of underground tunnels where there are the bones of thousands of Parisians. In the late 17 hundreds there were many disease problems so the people of Paris decided to excavate all the people in the city and place there bones 20 m underground. We walked through 1.6 km of stacked up bones (as shown in this picture) but if there are pathways under almost the whole city.

Quincy & I are sitting here, eating lunch, and reading your blog, and he just said "Amy" and looked down and smiled all shy-like! He likes to look at your family picture over his change table. He practices all your names everyday. Anyway, back to it...
